What once started as a gathering of devout music lovers in 2013, over the Canadian holiday — May Long Weekend — has grown into an internationally acclaimed festival on an island in Toronto.
Making its way to a fifth season this 2017, Electric Island has curated a line-up to include some of the worlds most sought-after DJs, and is quickly becoming Toronto’s most revered music event. Electric Island is proud to announce that it will be adding a second stage and will be hosting five shows at Hanlan’s Point — to run throughout the course of summer. The kickoff to the festival will start on Monday, May 22 (Victoria Day) and will continue to heat up on Saturday, July 1st as we celebrate Canada Day. Civic Holiday will take place on Monday, August 7th, and bringing summer to a close, Electric Island will host back to back shows on Sunday, September 3rd and Monday, September 4th for Labor Day weekend.
This year’s season pass will be sold at a starting price of $169.99 + HST, which will grant you entry to all five events held all summer long. Ferry tickets are sold separately and are highly encouraged to be purchased prior to the event to avoid long lines and wait time for all festival goers. Head over to their website for lineup and ticket purchases.
