We got a chance to catch up with Gryffin, one of the headliners at Ultra Music Festival this year. This is his first time back at Ultra Miami in a few years, and he’s never done a live Gravity show with the full band ever at Ultra, which he’s super excited to play. He gave us the exclusive and confirmed that he will be premiering a new record at Bayfront Park for Ultra 2020!

During the interview (full interview below), Racquel asked how Gryffin’s collaboration with Slander for “All You Need to Know” came about. They first became friends on Instagram/Twitter. For six months they tried doing a track together. Gryffin started writing, then working on production, sent it to Derek, AKA Slander, who answered within minutes saying he loved it! The entire track was produced digitally via Skype, & etc. They never sat in the studio once!

Gryffin is the second to last set to close out the Ultra Live Stage right before Flume, Sunday March 22. Slander will also be doing a b2b with Kayzo on the Worldwide Stage at the same time as Gryffin.
