Three years ago, Avicii left us. Whole world remember him
Written by Davide on April 20, 2021
Like many of you probably remember, today is the third anniversary of Tim Bergling’s death. On 20 April 2018, Tim’s death shocked the entire entire world of electronic music.
The Swedish icon’s music will continue to be played forever, either during our gigs or the radios or regular playlists. This is particularly true if we look at the numbers. It was noted via Spotify, that his track “Wake Me Up” today counts +1.263.794.856 streams.
A lot of freebies for Avicii during these months; here is the Revolution935 and EDM Lab’s little resume about these:
- Tomorrowland’s One World Radio has compiled a Top1000 chart of the greatest hits in electronic music. “Levels” won first place (read it here);
- The first drafts of this EDM icon are now within everyone’s reach inside a museum that was opened in Stockholm, entirely dedicated to Avicii (read it here);
- TRUE, Tim’s first album, turned seven years on 13 September 2020. On this occasion, five unreleased bonus tracks joined the album (read it here);
- The date of publication of the official biography of the legendary Swedish artist, written by Måns Mosesson, is finally available (read it here).
Now and Forever, thank you, Avicii!
