Earlier this month, Avicii became the latest wax figure at Madame Tussaud’s New York. Also his game Invector, that was in the works before he passed on, is coming out soon featuring 25 Avicii songs on the game. Not only that, The Tim Bergling Foundation stands strong. Founded by his father, Klas Bergling, who spoke on today’s CBS This Morning special “Stop the Stigma: A Conversation About Mental Health“, he discusses Avicii’s rise to fame and his fall in the music industry.
The Tim Bergling Foundation advocates for the recognition of suicide as a global health emergency and promotes removing the stigma attached to the discussion of mental health issues. It will support science-based organizations that engage in research into the causes and prevention of suicide, particularly for young people.
Additionally, the foundation will support non-profits that address issues for which Tim had a passion, such as climate change, preservation of endangered species, global hunger, and more.
