The electronic duo Justice has created a unique live performance filmed especially for cinemas. On Tuesday, September 10, IRIS: A Space Opera will run in theaters across the U.S. for one day.
Adapted from the live show “Woman Worldwide”, widely considered to be one of the greatest electro concerts ever produced, Iris: A Space Opera by Justice is a totally immersive visual and auditory experience. Check here for a city near you. More countries to be announced.
Justice is made up of electronic duo Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. They are known for their synthesizer-heavy, 1980s European dance music fused with 1970s disco.
In the early years, they worked on remixes for Britney Spears, N*E*R*D, Fatboy Slim, and Daft Punk. Their remix of MGMT song “Electric Feel” won a Grammy for Best Remixed Recording. In 2008, the Red Hot Chili Peppers asked them to produce their studio album Stadium Arcadium. Kanye West also released their Lenny Kravitz remix of “Let Love Rule” on his KanyeUniverseCity blog. Yes he used to blog.
In 2012, Justice played MainStage at Ultra Music Festival Miami and headlined Coachella in 2012 as well.
