Vote To Move Miami Ultra Music Festival Pushed Back

Miami’s biggest music festival is staying put for now. The vote that will decide the future of Ultra Music Festival has been pushed back to September 16.
Local residents complain about the event, because of the uproar it causes every year. Noise, overcrowding, and the disastrous aftermath of Bayfront Park are some of the issues that may cause the relocation of the festival.
However, a lot of money is generated from the event because of all of the tourism and attention it brings, which is something the city needs to consider during this debate.
UMF will remain at Bayfront Park in 2019, but relocation could take place as early as 2020. This would be the second time the festival has moved locations since its inaugural year in 1999.
