PopHouse Entertainment bought parts of Avicii’s catalog

The Swedish Company PopHouse Entertainment has purchased a significant stake in the copyright publishing of Avicii’s music. 

Tim’s family has declared that this will ensure the financial future of the Tim Bergling Foundation. Indeed, before most of the rights of Avicii’s music were detected by the family, which now retains 25% of the total. Such a move will keep Avicii’s family at the center of every decision on his music.

If you don’t know PopHouse, it was founded by Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA. This is a famous institution in Sweden, and many heavyweights from the Electronic Music World have their songs in their musical catalog.
