Revolution 93.5 – MIAMI WZFL - SOUTH FLORIDA

FL Studio Web has made music production history. It is a browser-based version of FL Studio, so producers can start projects online and finish them later in the desktop app. As a result, FL Studio becomes the first major legacy DAW with a true web version. It offers native plugins, FL Cloud integration and deep project compatibility.
FL Studio Web is available now as a public beta. It runs in modern browsers, and Image-Line recommends Google Chrome or other Chromium browsers. Under the hood, it uses WebAssembly and Web Audio. The familiar channel rack, step sequencer, piano roll and mixer are all there. You log in with your Image-Line account and sketch ideas. Then you save to the cloud and open the same project on desktop, with all your third-party plugins.
For beginners and students, this removes a big barrier. There is no download, installation or admin rights needed. An interactive assistant guides new users, and they can make a first loop in minutes. Meanwhile, existing FL users get a great capture tool. They can jot down chords, drum grooves or arrangements on a laptop or school computer. Later, they finish the sound design and mix in the studio.
FL Studio Web focuses on sequencing and arranging. It includes redesigned stock plugins built for the browser and tight FL Cloud integration. Early builds even offer AI-assisted drum MIDI generation trained on specific genres. However, heavy workflows, complex routing and big plugin chains stay on desktop. Image-Line admits that performance and stability will keep improving during the beta. The long-term goal is full compatibility between web and desktop projects.
For EDM producers, the benefits are clear. You can build drops, test kick and bass or draft intros almost anywhere. Then you finish with your usual plugins at home. Collaboration also gets easier. Thanks to FL Cloud, another producer can open your project in a browser for quick edits or feedback.
FL Studio Web also puts Image-Line ahead of rival DAWs, which mostly offer simple web companions. Moreover, it helps producers on Chromebooks, shared computers or locked-down systems. In short, a serious DAW in the browser opens music creation to classrooms, community spaces and home setups.
As web audio and cloud tools mature, the line between a mobile sketch and a studio project is fading. For now, FL Studio Web gives producers a powerful new option. Just open a browser, log in and start building tracks with the same FL DNA behind countless EDM, trap and pop hits. No install required.
